My name is Dominika, I am 12 years old and I am a student of Mojave No. 4 Middle School. I have a lot of hobbies. I like playing the piano, listening to music, photography, dancing, and also like skating, skiing and swimming.

I have a Chinese friend named Xu Xiya. Four years ago, she accompanied the Changsha primary school student delegation to visit our school, and I met her. We studied, exercised, and played together and spent a week of happy time. Since then, I have been fond of Chinese. I not only learn Chinese in class, but also use the Internet to understand Chinese culture and improve my Chinese proficiency by participating in competitions. I have participated in many competitions, won the champion of the Chinese Language Olympiad, the second prize of the calligraphy competition, and was shortlisted for the national finals, and also won the second prize of the Chinese poetry recitation and the idiom and pictography contest.

China is a very beautiful country, and I have always wanted to visit China. However, due to the severe global epidemic, this wish has not been realized. I really hope that the new crown epidemic will end soon. In 2022, when the Winter Olympics are held, I can go to Beijing to watch skiing competitions, and I can also go to Changsha to see my good friend Xu Xiya.
