我叫迟威廉。我今年13岁，目前是东南亚联合世界书院的一名学生。我2岁来到新加坡，从那以后就一直住在那里。我会说英语，普通话，法语，并且在过去有过学习新语言的经验。我会很多运动，包括击剑和篮球，我曾经也参加过很多运动，包括足球和武术。除了运动之外，我还会做很多其他的事情。我最突出的爱好（我一有空就去）是音乐。我能熟练地弹钢琴，并通过了英国皇家音乐学院联合委员会钢琴考级的标准八级。我也演奏电低音和木吉他，这两种乐器我都参加过单独的课程（我也常在家里瞎弹电低音）。我也喜欢阅读，并对各种体裁感兴趣。在接触中国文化方面，我特别感兴趣，并学习了一些戏剧艺术，如相声、灌口表演、故事和诗歌。
My name is William Chi. I’m 13 years old and currently a student at UWCSEA. I came to Singapore at 2 years of age, and have been living there ever since. I can speak English, Mandarin, French, and have had experience with learning new languages in the past. I can play a number of sports which include fencing and basketball and I’ve participated in numerous sports in the past, including football and martial arts. Aside from sports, I do a variety of other things. My most prominent hobby (and my go to whenever I have free time) is playing music. I can play the piano proficiently, and have passed the standard grade 8 syllabus of ABRSM. I also play the electric bass and the acoustic guitar, where I both take individual lessons (and for the former, mess around quite a bit at home). I also enjoy reading and take interest in a variety of genres. In terms of exposure to Chinese culture, I particularity take interest and have studied certain theatrical arts such as crosstalk and performances of guankou, stories and poems.
